Job Title: Line Cook (Part-Time & Full-Time)
Job Summary:
Are you passionate about cooking and looking for a dynamic workplace? Join our team at Jake’s Unlimited! We are seeking enthusiastic part-time and full-time line cooks to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing food items, cooking, organizing food storage locations, and maintaining the highest level of cleanliness standards. Must be able to work in the kitchen and any other areas of need in the Food and Beverage Department as required by business demands. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour, with potential for more based on experience.
Availability on Saturdays and Sundays is desired.

Responsibilities:
- Follow training for Maricopa Health Code to ensure food safety and sanitation.
- Lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as squatting, bending, or pushing as needed.
- Stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Demonstrate reliability and punctuality in all shifts.
- Provides exceptional guest service to both all guests
- Reads, understands, and follows standards and recipe specifications for the production of food items
- Responsible for maintaining food quality standards with regard to food safety, and time & temperature control.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized area at all times. Adheres to all departmental standards and regulations of health and food safety.
- Must have a valid food handler’s permit
- Responsible for the sanitation of all kitchen surfaces, floors, workstations, trash, equipment, and prep areas to ensure the highest level of cleanliness standards at all times.
- Responsible for maintaining food storage areas such as dry storage, freezers, and refrigerators with labeled/dated items.
